Alaïs was born in Bristol, England shortly after her parents immigrated from Nice, France. She grew up in a very close-knit family, but her father's job often prevented them from spending as much time together as they would of liked. She enjoyed spending time as a child in her Italian mother's book store, reading every book she could get her hands on. As a child she wished for a sibling, but made up imaginary friends to compensate for lack of playmates. She has always been a great animal lover, and has kept a variety of pets including: rodents, dogs, cats, and canaries. She has been around since a young age, her mother being a witch, but she was raised much like a muggle child, for her father's sake.
