Sirius is the eldest son of Walburga and Orion Black, and was born in London. He stood to inherit a large fortune, but due to a falling out with his family, he has been disowned and cast from the family. He is living off of a decent sum of money given to him by his Uncle Alphard, and lives with the Potter family off and on. His childhood was marked by pureblood dogma, which he originally capitulated to. he spent a great deal of time with his cousins Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa. Although he thought he was happy, this idyllic childhood was marked by confusion stemming from his parent's beliefs. However, when he was sorted into Gryffindor at Hogwarts he quickly adapted a more open frame of mind. Following his friendship with James Potter he began to buck the conventions of his family.
