Elijah smiled and then looked down at his watch "It's almost midnight." he sighed and smiled at Emm once again.

Elijah laughed. "New years is over rated but Halloween is coming up. My favourite holiday." Elijah removed his thick cloak and put it around Emmeline's shoulders. "There. For some reason I don't ever feel the cold."

My mum and Dad were perfect together then he got promoted and then he works so much that he doesn't have any time for us and then he drinks because He feels bad for neglecting us.
