"Let the Meal begin!"
:: Headmistress Black waves wand as food appears on the plates of the students. She begins to strike up a conversation with the Teacher next to her, and doesn't notice the Mashed Potatoes go flying past her head until they slam into that of the Professor nearest her. ::
"Oh dear, Minerva?" She looks out and sees a mass of students, all throwing and dodging flying food. Amused, she casts a simple shielding charm around herself, and leans back to enjoy the war.

Chloe backed away hesitantly from the food flinging nonsense that was taking place. She was in the right mind to leave, when a plate of corn narrowly missed her head.
"Oi! Who threw that!" she demanded, sweeping a piece of pumpkin pie off the table. She chucked in the direction the corn came from. "Take that, ha!" She turned, intending to get out while she wasn't soiled with food stains, but another dish hit her square in the back as she did. "Arse!"
She tucked her book sfaely inside her robes, and began scooping and throwing all the food she could reach.

Bella stood quickly, surverying the area with amusement and a tad of distaste. Some poor sod had cherry pie poured down her front, and it was obviously going to stain horribly. Bella seized the nearest glass of pumpkin juice and sloshed it over the head of a nearby first year. She laughed with satisfaction to herself and sat back down to enjoy the view. She doubted that anyone would have the nerve to throw anything in her direction, her reputation preceded her.

Chloe dug her hands into a dish of Blackberry cobbler, scooped up as much as she could and tossed it at the Slytherin table. Not watching to see who it hit, she grabbed up the entire dish this time, and flung it at an unsupecting boy near her. She ducked as a piece of Treacle Tart flew her way. She laughed to herself, she never usually had the chance to be so wild without a half bottle of Rum in her system

Bella grabbed a giant turkey wing and hurled it in the general direction of the Hufflepuff table, and was most satisfied to see it land on some poor first year, who was absolutely shocked to find poultry in her hair.

Once the first handful of food was thrown Andromeda went into action and came up with her a lovely plan. A mischievous smile graced her features as she went in for the kill. Crawling on all fours toward the Slytherin table, a silver dish filled to the brim with chocolate pudding was held close to her body. She held back a grimace when her hand came in contact with a pile of mashed potatoes and immediately hurled it in the direction of the Hufflepuff table.
If you knew Andromeda you would come to realize that what she views as affection is not a mainstream thought. Affection to her is being able to tease, laugh at, and laugh with her friends. She eyed her victim's expensive school robes with silver fastenings and stood up. Standing at her full height of 5’8 gave her an advantage as she dumped the entire bowl of pudding on the head of her dear sister Bellatrix. "Bella fancy seeing you here," you could tell she was smiling just by the tone of her voice. She does not hold ill-feelings toward either of her sisters, but has decided to act how she would normally. "I's not sure if I topped my greeting from last year, but this one is by far the most delicious."

Bella couldn't help but grin at Andie, despite the pudding that was streaming through her pitch black hair. "Clever, clever, sister," Bella taunted good-naturedly, laughing slightly as she pulled globs of pudding off of her robes. "What brings you to this hive of villany?" Before Andie could reply she tossed another tall glass of pumpkin juice at her sister and ducked lest Andie return her gesture of affection with anything that stained.

Andromeda chuckled, unfazed by her sister's act of revenge. "You could have at least given me a different beverage; I was never one to drink pumpkin juice." Her tongue darted out the corner of her mouth to catch a droplet of juice from her hair. "Well I have always loved chocolate pudding and I thought the brown would match your eyes."
Without a second thought she took a spoon off the Slytherin table and gave Bellatrix a smile. She proceeded to dip the spoon into a delectable dollop of pudding currently positioned on Bella's nose. After eating her spoonful of pudding she couldn't help but make her own little comment. "Do you know if Rodolphus likes chocolate pudding? I’m sure you could come up with a little treat for him on your wedding night." Andromeda beamed at her sister and out of reflex went on to wink at her.

Bella's smile dropped slightly at the corners at the mention of Rodolphus. Her brow line hardened slightly and a strange steeliness settled around her mouth. "As far as I know he doesn't like eating," she replied a little bitterly. "Please don't talk about him to me."
As quickly as this strange manner had come, she flashed a smile and moved on to better subjects. She was glad to see that her sister hadn't lost her sense of humour.
"I knew you didn't like pumpkin juice," she apologised, grinning. "But there wasn't anything else close by."

Andromeda kept a smile on her face despite the questions running through her head. What’s got her knickers in a bunch? I mention her betrothed and she acts like I am talking about a muggle. Deciding to respect Bella’s wishes for now she chose to drop the subject of Rodolphus. I’ll just have to remember that he is a good subject to use if she ever takes a turn for the worst.
She gave her sister a large toothy grin and placed her arm over Bella’s shoulder. “Well you could have asked me for my flask, I wouldn’t have stayed awake during the sorting otherwise!” She spoke in a gleeful tone and proceeded to give her sister a kiss on the cheek. “We can still drink together even though I don’t live with you right?” She paused for a second in contemplation and then answered her own question before Bella could do it herself. “Right!”

Bella considered what Andie had said, and agreed with her to some degree, but hoped desperately that no one in Slytherin had seen that sly kiss. After all, it couldn't be said that she was talking to her sister when she herself so fervently denied any relation to the girl. But...
"Right," she replied, ending any internal debate. "Right."
She continued, without adding any antagonism to the subject, hopefully, "How's Ted?" She did not mean this in a negative way, after all, the boy was all right despite his questionable parentage, and clearly Andie loved him.

Andromeda did not expect Bella to agree with her and felt like knocking her hand against Bella’s head. Is she thinking straight? I could have sworn I heard her agree with me, but that does not make much sense now does it?
At the mere mentioning of Ted a smile the size of London surfaced on Andie’s face. "Well, Ted does feel a bit guilty about my situation, but I think it’s safe to say that I beat the majority of the guilt out of his system." Her eyes softened once she stated the "emotional trauma" Ted went through after he learned of Andromeda’s predicament. She had put off telling him the news for quite some time and he was a mix between furious and distressed. Furious that Andromeda’s family was so cruel and unbearable, and distressed about her new living situation.
"I must say Ted’s mother is a splendid cook, and you know how much I love food!" Just the thought of his mother’s cooking made her mouth water slightly, and for the remainder of the summer she spent many nights eating that delectable food. As her thoughts took a new twist a proud smile could be seen on her face.
"I love him," she murmured to herself, only Bellatrix could even hope to catch that statement, but what was to come would clear up any confusion.
"I Andromeda Black am in love with Ted Tonks a muggleborn member of the Gryffindor house." That proud smile never left her face and she stated her proclamation with a somewhat dazed look in her eyes. She quickly removed her arm form her sister shoulders and stood directly in front of her. Andromeda proceeded to stare intently at Bellatrix, looking for the disgust that was bound to follow her statement.

Bella couldn't help but let a slight flicker of distaste cross her face, but she rubbed her sister's shoulder and smiled. "Don't pay any attention to me, whatever makes you happy is what's important. You can't really choose who you love, I understand your position. I don't agree with it, but I'd probably have done the same if I were you."
She removed her hand and turned to walk away. But before she did, she looked over her shoulder with a quick smile. "Good luck!" She then proceeded to throw a cream pie at her sister.
